Executive Summary

This document describes the work that has been done (by the time of the submission) for the SELIS Knowledge Base implementation. The Deliverable also serves the work that has been carried out, including an extended research on existing portals in order for the Project to deliver a state-of–the–art, innovative and user friendly portal. The deliverable also takes into consideration the identified structure and organized content related to the SELIS reference technologies, standards and projects along with the monitoring procedure throughout the lifetime of the Project.

This is the first Deliverable of the task T1.4 (SELIS Knowledge Base and Observatory). The implementation of the portal as well as its enrichment with new articles is an ongoing process, which is expected to be completed at a later stage and be reported in the final Deliverable of this task that will be submitted upon the completion of the Project (in month 36).
