This presentation, given in the context of a meeting of the Information Management Sub Committee (IMSC), a body of the WCO, provides an overview of the SELIS LL7 project and draws attention to how the use of global data standards, in particular future uptake of the Pipeline Data Exchange Structure (PDES) standard, can potentially enhance the de-risking of cross-border movements of legitimate goods, leading to benefits for both economic operators and cross-border agencies.
